10 Oct Workers rescued by Kuwait Fire Force
Firefighters from Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) rushed to the scene of a blaze at Safat Squire in the Capital Governorate on Thursday. An under-construction building was ablaze and the fire team were able to successfully rescue seven workers who were trapped on the upper levels of the building.
Fire fighters and engines from the City, Al-Hilali and Al-Salmiya were called to the 15-storey tower, along with backup corps. The lower three stories were engulfed in flames but firefighters were able to subdue the flames and proceed to rescue the trapped workers.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation. No injuries were recorded.
