24 Mar Man sets fire to Dubai luxury hotel apartment and broadcasts act on social media
A man has been arrested after setting fire to a luxury hotel apartment in Dubai and then broadcasting it on social media.
The luxury apartment in Dubai’s Palazzo Versace Hotel has been destroyed by the arson and vandalism, which was shown ‘live’ on social media.
The man arrested was accompanied by two accomplices and shared the footage of the flames in several videos on his social media account. In the videos he can be seen burning parts of the room and setting fire to furniture.The man also put a sticker on the fire alarm, rendering the safety systems useless.
