28 Feb Intersec announced as Diamond sponsor for Abu Dhabi Fire Fighting Challenge
Intersec has been announced as Diamond sponsor for the Abu Dhabi Fire Fighting Challenge taking place in the capital between the 28th February and the 2nd March. As Diamond sponsor, Intersec will be supporting the challenge as part of the show’s 25th anniversary celebrations, ahead of its Silver Jubilee edition in January 2024.
The Fire Fighting Challenge consists of a series of tasks that display the necessary incredible physical condition required as part of the role, alongside discussions relating to the mental toll of the profession. Viewers will also get the opportunity to witness and learn about the various fire suppression technologies currently being used by fire-fighting forces.
Demonstrations will be given to show off what to do in various situations, with different types of danger scenarios on display for viewers.
Speaking on the upcoming conference, Alex Nicholl, Portfolio Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East said: “The Fire Fighting Challenge is a fantastic opportunity to build appreciation for the incredible people who undertake the role […], It also raises the profile of these unsung heroes and puts them in the spotlight.”

The Abu Dhabi Fire Fighting challenge stands as a place for global leaders across the UAE to come together, learning more about the future of firefighting and understanding the demands of individual fire-fighters at the ground level. This fits will well with the aims of Intersec – who achieved record-breaking attendance figures at this year’s event.
