21 Nov Huge fire at Ras Al Khaimah oil factory
A large fire that broke out at an oil factory in the UAE city of Ras Al Khaimah has been brought under control by emergency services.
Fire teams from Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence attended the scene alongside police to tackle the blaze on Saturday 19 November. The situation was brought under control with no injuries reported.
Ras Al Khaimah police issued a statement: “Despite the thick smoke resulting from the blaze, firefighters controlled the situation and prevented the spread of the fire. Cooling process is undertaking in the site.”
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
