Highlights of Intersec Dubai 2024

After a week of innovative fire safety, detection and extinguishing products launched at Intersec Dubai 2024 this year, the event has come to a close.

Leading brands in the fire industry exhibited their products and announced partnerships at the Dubai World Trade Centre for the 25th Silver Jubilee edition. Now that the event has ended, here’s a look at some of the highlights:

Axis Communications, a video surveillance provider announced new products at Intersec Dubai, including a world-first for network horn speakers certified for Zone and Division 1 hazardous locations (AXIS XC1311).

The company was awarded for its Exemplary Perimeter Security Solutions after its AXIS Q1656-DLE Radar-Video Fusion Camera took centre stage.

Ceasefire unveiled its range of fire technologies, including the launch of its ULtraX UL Listed Kitchen Fire Suppression System, a chemical-based system which features both mechanical and electrical activation options. The system offers comprehensive protection against a wide range of kitchen fires.

The company also showcased Lithium-Ion Battery fire extinguishers with a biodegradable agent with no PFOS / PFAS to minimise damage to the surrounding environment.

Global Fire Equipment (GFE) revealed the latest additions to its product portfolio, allowing visitors to explore its new range of technologies.

GFE showed its new innovations in detectors, emergency lighting, and graphical fire alarm monitoring, control, and communications software.

Hochiki, the life safety solutions, specialising in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of state-of-the-art fire detection and emergency lighting systems demonstrated its range of fire detection systems.

The range, Latitude was showcased as well as its emergency lighting system, FIREscape Nepto.

WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC had its first official presence on the market at Intersec 2024 after it had established a new national subsidiary in Dubai.

The company exhibited at the event to broadcast its fire protection solutions for the entire Middle East.
