Eid al Fitr is the breaking of the fast following the Holy Month of Ramadan. It is a time when families and friends come together to celebrate with each other. In Oman, special lamb dishes called Shuwa are prepared. Marinated lamb is wrapped in banana leaves and slowed cooked overnight in tandoori pit. This food is unbelievable.
