05 May 3500 vehicles damaged
A fire which started in a 15-acre rental car storage area at Southwest Florida in America damaged an estimated 3,500 vehicles and needed 80 drops of water from the local fire aviation unit to extinguish.
Initial report suggested the blaze was caused by a car being parked with a hot exhaust pipe on grass that was tinder dry at the end of a hot sunny day when the temperature had reached 80 degrees.
