17 Oct Warehouse gutted by blaze
A fire which started in the early hours of the morning completely gutted a plastics warehouse in Ajman’s new industrial area but no human casualties were reported.
The fierceness of the blaze was fuelled because the warehouse was filled with flammable items and that caused Brigadier Rashid Majlad, the deputy director of Ajman’s Civil Defence to remind factory owners to take all vital fire precautions when using such dangerous materials.
