Tyco introduces redesigned LFII

Johnson Control’s Tyco LFII 4.9K concealed pendent sprinkler has undergone a redesign. The new sprinkler provides more flexibility with installation when cutting fixed sprinkler drops and offers an increased vertical adjustment of 3/4inch (19.1mm).

Efficiency is improved thanks to the flat profile of the improved cover plate which aids assembly. It features a new push on/twist off method for installation and removal.

There are two temperature ratings available: ordinary temperature (155°F (68°C) Sprinkler/139°F (59°C) Cover Plate) and intermediate temperature (200°F (93°C) Sprinkler/165°F (74°C) Cover Plate). Additionally custom paint cover plates ae also available.

In other Tyco news, the company has just announced that its Model ESFR-17 16.8K pendent sprinkler is now FM Approved at 205°F (96°C). And back in October Johnson Controls launched two new Tyco early-suppression, fast-response rapid install sprinklers designed to protect warehouse and storage facilities.
