At least 65 passengers died when a fire ripped through three carriages of a train travelling between the cities of Karachi and Rawalpindi in Pakistan.
Sheik Rashid Ahmed, Pakistan’s minister for railways, said that the fire was started by the explosion of a portable gas cyclinder being used by passengers to cook their breakfast and that many of the victims died as they tried off jump off the burning train.
