Firefighters at Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh airport were praised for their speedy reaction when a plane belonging to Ukraine’s SkyUp airline developed a fire as it was landing.
The flames were from a tyre on which hydraulic oil had been leaked but they were extinguished before spreading into the plane’s main body and all its passengers and crew were evacuated safely.
