Software for the British FRS

A new software programme produced by Infographics UK Ltd is helping british Fire and Rescue Services  to meet higher efficiency targets as well as reducing their operational costs.
FireWatch v7.6 is now being used by around a third of the UK’s authorities to introduce new contractual arrangements, crewing models and more varied appliance and staff attributes. It also helps with collaboration with other emergency services.
Infographics commercial manager Russell Wood said the FireWatch system has led to services saving up to £1.5 million after replacing previously inefficient internal IT systems.
He said: “Fire and Rescue Services all over the UK are trying to adapt quickly to meet efficiency requirements. To do so, they’ve introduced new contractual arrangements, crewing models, more varied appliance and staff attributes, and are engaging in greater collaboration with other Emergency Services.
“These changes to working practices, and the greater focus on improved operational and financial performance, mean it is no longer feasible for Fire and Rescue Services to run inefficient, loosely-integrated internal IT systems, as these create a barrier to the business transformation the sector is trying to achieve. “
