Firefighters from two areas of Abu Dhabi’s Civil Defence were praised after they extinguished a fire which erupted in the bows of a merchant ship that was moored in the Emirate’s Icad IIb area.
The cause of the fierce blaze is under investigation but it was put out before it spread into the middle of the ship or caused a fire on any of the other boats moored nearby.
