03 Mar Roy Fernandes announced as Projects Director at Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy
Roy Fernandes has been appointed as Projects Director of Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy (FEC), specialist fire and life safety consultancy.
Fernandes has over 17 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, including hospitality and transport through the Middle East plus almost two decades of experience developing client relationships and managing high-profile projects. He will be utilising his technical expertise and management ability, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabia, Africa, India, the UAE and Oman to ensure the development of Tenable FEC’s global portfolio of projects.
Fernandes said: “I’m delighted to be joining Tenable FEC. The team places paramount importance on the preservation of life within the built environment, no matter the size or scope of a project, which is fully aligned with my own ambitions of raising regional standards and delivering world-class fire and life safety consultancy services.”
Fernandes holds a master of business administration in operations management and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
With the introduction of the Projects Director role, alongside Fernandes’ expertise, a number of options and developments become available for Tenable FEC across the international stage.
The company is able to take on and manage more projects, whilst ensuring safety standards are met across the various projects the company do choose to invest in.
Tenable is not the only industry company to be expanding its ranks. Fire protection solutions firm Advanced appointed Sargunan Sellamuthu as Business Development Manager earlier this year, in support of its bold growth plans for the Middle East and Africa.
