05 Dec Nursery fire in Sharjah
A fire in a plant nursery near Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah gutted the contents of many nurseries within only 30 minutes of the flames being spotted.
The fast spread of the blaze was blamed on heavy winds that swept through the area at the time although destroying not only plants but also plastic and wooden materials stored on the site.
It was, however, quickly extinguished by Sharjah Civil Defence firefighters before many other nurseries were affected.
