Known around the world for its fire pumps, Armstrong Fluid Technology has long been committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations through company-wide initiatives including efforts to reduce fuel use, energy consumption, water use and waste to landfill. Now the company has signed the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment which was launched by the World Green Building Council and positions energy efficiency as a central component to achieving decarbonisation globally. In signing this commitment, Armstrong Fluid Technology has pledged to ensure their portfolio of buildings operates at a net zero carbon by the year 2030.
