Ministry of Interior requires all UAE villas to install the Hassantuk fire alarm system

The Ministry of Interior now requires all UAE villas to install the Hassantuk fire alarm system from the beginning of this year.

In a bid to aid in fire protection and a mounting lack of fire alarm systems in villas, the Ministry is attempting to reduce delays in fire detection.

The UAE Cabinet mandated the installation of Hassantuk systems in all existing and under-construction residential villas from January 1, 2024, which should immediately trigger the local alarm if the smoke detection threshold is reached.

Each detector in every villa will be connected to the Hassantuk Signal Receiving Center via Etisalat’s IoT solution to enable fully automatic real-time alerts to be sent to the centre whenever any detector is triggered.

If the alert is confirmed it is forwarded to the Civil Defence dashboard, providing accurate information about the villa’s location and the affected sensor.

These advancements hope to enhance the fire prevention and detection capabilities of Hassantuk, and the safety of residents in the UAE.
