06 May Massive construction site fire
Damage worth nearly US$40 million was caused by a fire which roared through a massive apartment building in the American state of Maryland. The block, called Fuse 47, was being constructed to create more than 270 housing units and had been due to open to residents in July. The cause of the blaze, which took firefighters 12 hours to get under control has not been discovered, but no injuries were reported.
