16 Nov Kuwait Fire Force supports safety awareness campaign
Kuwait Fire Force is collaborating with National Bank of Kuwait to launch a safety awareness campaign ahead of the camping season. Volunteers from National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) will be joining the Kuwait Fire Force Team in visiting camp sites throughout the season. The teams will be handing out to campers safety camping kits that include a fire extinguisher, fire alarm and first aid equipment. The campaign is to help ensure that camps adhere to regulations for safety and waste removal.
Talal Al-Turki, Public Relations Senior Manager for NBK, said: “The campaign targets limiting the fire incidents in spring camping sites. The campaign is divided into phases. NBK volunteers and Fire Force team will visit campsites to distribute the safety kits. Representatives from Kuwait Fire Force will also speak with campers and provide them with safety and security tips.
“NBK aims to help keep the environment clean and people safe this camping season. The camp site visits aim to urge campers to enhance their security as well as environmental awareness about precautions to be used to prevent campfires and maintain cleanliness.”
