Kuwait Fire Force inspects safety measures

The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) has announced that it has closed 21 facilities that were in violation of the fire safety and prevention requirements. The recent crackdowns in the governorates of Jahra, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Farwaniya came after a decision was issued by Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Mekrad, Head of the Fire Force.

In a statement issued by the Kuwait Fire Force, it underlined the need for building owners and any activities happening within them to abide by the fire and safety prevention requirements to ensure the safety of lives, property and community security.

The owners of the 21 facilities were found not to be complying with these requirements, which led to the closure being enforced by the KFF.
