19 Dec Kuwait Fire Force continues its support of safe camping campaign
The Kuwait Fire Force and the National Bank of Kuwait are continuing their safety awareness campaign targeting campers. Volunteers from the two organisations have already visited camping sites in north Kuwait to provide fire safety equipment in preparation for the camping season. This included a fire extinguisher, fire alarms and first aid support.
They were also ensuring that camps are fully complying with regulations for safety. The teams will continue to visit more sites to ensure the messages and safety equipment can reach as many people as possible.
Lt Col Rashed Al-Halfi from the Kuwait Fire Force praised the teams’ efforts to prevent camping accidents. He said: “During the camping season, we strengthen our awareness among campers in cooperation with partners such as the National Bank of Kuwait.”
Mohammad Al-Sarraf, NBK Public Relations Officer, added: “The campaign targets limiting the fire incidents in spring camping sites. NBK aims to help keep the environment clean and people safe this camping season. The camp site visits aim to urge campers to enhance their security as well as environmental awareness about precautions to be taken to prevent campfires and maintain cleanliness.”
