Texas police officer Sam Click was hailed a hero after he came across a home engulfed in flames and smashed his way through the back door to rescue five children between six months and ten years old.
His first reaction had been to make an emergency call to the local fire department but on speakers to neighbours of the house who told him there were still people inside.
All the children that he found were asleep but he managed to wake them all and video footage captured on his bodycam showed him carrying two of the youngsters out of the fire which is believed to have started in the garage.
