29 Sep FPA hosts first virtual fire research and testing event
The Fire Protection Association has hosted a virtual event to educate stakeholders the key facts of fire testing and show off the range of products and facilities available at the FPA. The event was hosted on the 23rd of September 2020 and had a high number of registrations.
The sessions focused on testing and fire suppression systems which featured speakers from the FPA fire testing laboratory. The importance of unsafe cladding was touched upon and how this affects residents having to live in these conditions. There were also demonstrations of the sprinkler head testing facilities at Blockley laboratory.
