07 Nov Fire crews tackle blaze off Jumeirah Beach
Firefighters and fire crews were called to the scene of a fire at Jumeirah Beach on Saturday 5 November.
The incident near Jumeirah Beach involved a blaze on a vessel just off the coast of the popular tourist spot, and was thought to involve a jet ski. The area is located close to the famous Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which are both popular with tourists to Dubai.
Fire crews and police marine vessels were at the scene and the fire appeared to be quickly controlled by the local authorities. No authorities that attended the scene have issued a statement.
