Mass Gatherings and Disaster Management

Mass Gatherings and Disaster Management KSA (MGDM) is the region’s dedicated platform created to improve mass gatherings and disaster preparedness, planning and response.
Saudi Arabia is responsible for accommodating millions of visitors annually. As these numbers continue to grow year on year, now more than ever is critical for national and regional authorities to continue to develop their procedures, systems and infrastructure in order to ensure the safety and security of their residents and tourists.
MGDM will provide a platform for regional and international leaders to join together and discuss, debate and pave the way for establishing long-term sustainable policies to strengthen their resilience to disasters as well as maintain local and global health security frameworks.
Fully supported by Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine (SASEM), the Saudi Ministry of Health and the Global Center for Mass Gatherings Medicine, MGDM will encompass an elite scientific committee made up of 8 of the region’s leading visionaries in disaster management to ensure the most important issues are addressed.
