10 Apr Boat fire in Oman leaves one person dead
A fire in Muscat, Oman, has left one person dead, and 11 other people injured, after three tourist boats caught alight.
The incident happened in the Wilayat of Khasab, Musandam Governorate.
In a statement, the Royal Oman Police said: “The Musandam Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Department and the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Musandam, dealt with a report of the burning of three tourist boats in the fisherman port in the Wilayat of Khasab, which resulted in the death of a European person and the injury of 11 people of different nationalities.”
