AGM sees demand for fire-resistant sealants grow

AMG is expecting impressive sales growth thanks to growing demand for fire-resistant chemical sealants. Managing Director of Al Muqarram group (AMG) Safdar Badami is anticipating an increase of around 10-15% in sales revenues by the year-end, believing it is likely to hit the AED140 million mark.

The company believes that a growing demand for fire-resistant chemical sealants and adhesives in the region will help drive solid sales. So much so that for next year it is targeting revenues of AED150million and a 20% growth.

This week, the company unveiled its latest product, HVAC Contact adhesive, at The Big 5 construction Expo in Dubai. Speaking at the launch Badami commented: “We are delighted to be introducing our latest product – the HVAC Adhesive – to the regional market. This is a quality product that has been designed with emerging needs in mind. Through our own internal research, the HVAC Adhesive will cater to a very specific need in the construction industry, which will boost the quality and safety of buildings not just in the region but internationally as well.”

AMG has also been awarded the DCL certification by the Dubai Civil Defence for its Firestop Silicone Sealant. The coveted award means that it can now actively participate in key construction projects with the UAE and comes following approvals by the Sharjah Civil Defence and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence.
