11 May 19 Dead in the Gulf of Oman
Iran’s media reported that while out on a training exercise in the Gulf of Oman, a missile was fired and hit a support vessel. 19 Iranians were killed and 15 wounded as a result of this. The friendly fire incident happened on Sunday, 790 miles southeast of Tehran. The vessel that was struck was then towed back to shore but the army has not shared the state of the damage. The investigation is said to now be ongoing.
